My nails are turning yellow around the cuticles, near the edges, but not the actual nail just the skin around?

it. But i recently started eating more sugar than usual and drinking a ton of that diet lipton green tea stuff. I'm going to try taking some more multi-vitamins. But why is this? What can I do to help it?My nails are turning yellow around the cuticles, near the edges, but not the actual nail just the skin around?
The trick to healthy nails, cuticals, and hair is your vitamin intake. Vitamin E is essential. If you increased your sugar, decrease it back to where it was or less. Increase vitamins A, E, D. Also, if you have ridges in your nails that is a sign of vitamin deficiency. It's all about your intake. If you where a lot of nail polish, that's nor especially healthy either. Take a break from that.

Good Luck.My nails are turning yellow around the cuticles, near the edges, but not the actual nail just the skin around?
try eating protein and other things other then just apples and tea you body is probably deprived of something so to show that your fingers are turning yellow, don't drink diet lipton green tea there are sugers in there that are really bad for you. Anything diet is bad for you because they put something in there that is bad but I can't think of it right now.
Smokers get that yellowish tinge around that part of their fingers...

Could be that? you didnt mention if you were or not.
