I've gone to different nail salons to get my nails done. And I've seen some manicurist cutting the sole with a blade cutter or cutting the cuticles. Are they allow or supposed to do that since they're not doctors?Are manicurist/nail tech supposed or allowed to cut clients' soles with blade cutter and cuticles away?
they can. it is taught during their certification. they have to sterilize after each use.
however, DO NOT LET THEM DO IT! shaving callouses with the blade causes the callouses to come back thicker and cracked. just let them use a stone to file them down. and, cutting cuticles can create a site for bacteria and infection around the nail bed. just let them push the cuticles back.Are manicurist/nail tech supposed or allowed to cut clients' soles with blade cutter and cuticles away?
I personally don't know but my mom said that was illegal
