There is no way to grow nails any faster, just healthier. Make sure she is getting a nutritional diet, well balanced, and not short on protein, one of the main building blocks of hair and nails. Make sure she is drinking enough water, getting enough rest, and pampering her hands and fingers with lotion several times a day. Prenatal vitamins will help them grow from the inside and make them healthy without external stuff.

If she's biting them down to the cuticle, there is no nail left! Are you sure you don't mean the 'quick'? Either way, a good nail hardener on any nail that might be there will help her quit biting them. That's the main thing to get them growing, she has to quit biting them! Try something really bitter tasting on her fingers, so she'll keep them out of her mouth. Golden seal root extract, is really bitter, it bottle broke one of my grandchildren. Buy it at a health food store or from an herbalist. Might be able to get it at a pharmacy that carries vitamins and such.
First of all, you have to stop her from biting her nails. Its a bad habit that she has to break.





Secondly, I know that there are vitamins available that can help strengthen, not just nails, but the hair and skin, too.
the damaged cuticle is permanent, they will grow as fast as anyones nails normally would, but the base will be shorter
if i were you, i'd start applying nail polish on her nails and make sure you re-apply it as soon as it starts chipping off. that way it would taste so horrible everytime she bites her nails, and perhaps she might hold that habit off for a while.
